Co-Founder/Director of Softball
Angela Williams is the Director of Softball for the Royals Elite Softball program. In addition, Mrs. Williams is the Assistant Varsity Softball Coach at Harold. L. Richards High School.
Prior to co-founding the Royals, Williams spent two years as a softball student-athlete at Northern Illinois University from 2013-2015. She then spent two years as a softball student-athlete at Reinhardt University (GA) from 2015-2017.
At RU, Roberts contributed to the school record by adding their 7th & 8th consecutive AAC Championships, playing third base, short-stop, and outfield. Roberts was not only successful on-field, but off-field as well as she was a 2-time Academic All-Conference Player, 2-time Dean's List recipient, and 2-time Presidential List recipient.
Williams earned her B.S. from Reinhardt University in Sports Studies with a minor in Business Administration earning a cumulative GPA of 3.8. She is currently in school getting her Master's degree in Education.
Coach Williams is originally from Homewood, IL., where she was a standout softball player at Homewood Flossmoor High School. Roberts earned 2-time All-Area, 2-time All-Conference, and MVP honors. She played travel softball with the HF Force, where she helped her travel program to several tournament wins, a top 5 finish in the USSSA World Series in 2012, and a 2012 USSSA Class A #2 travel club Illinois state ranking. She is married to Jarrell Williams, the Co-Founder/President of the Royals. Together, they aspire to grow the Royals into an elite multisport organization that provides the Chicago Southland and Northwest Indiana student-athletes with a world-class experience.
